DAIA at a Glance

Our Distinct Identity

DAIA knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but through the actions of our initiatives. Founded in 2002, our Non-Profit Organisation works to create healthy, thriving communities in low socio-economic areas of Tuticorin and Kovilpatti.

Ways We Help

Meaningful Work. Unforgettable Experiences.

Educate the Young

Education is of utmost importance in a child's life. At DAIA, we're working with families who need an extra hand financially, so that children who come from humble backgrounds can experience the joy of schooling. Our after-school tuition centres also give students opportunities to create learning hubs, and form friendships too!

Empower Women

With access to the right resources, a whole host of pathways open up for those living in low socio-economic areas. DAIA's Empowerment Scheme strives to fulfill the potential inside every person hungry for an opportunity, by facilitating and offering ways for independent income generation.

Embrace the Aged

At DAIA, we're dedicated to supporting our elderly, especially those who are living alone, or have limited means of income. We seek to love, care, and offer companionship to these citizens, and ensure they feel safe and heard in their communities.

Awareness Programs on health,hygiene,sanitation

DAIA's awareness programs focus on the vitality of health and hygiene in low socio-economic areas. We offer valuable information for disease prevention in small communities, as well as important do's and don'ts of dealing with illness once it's present.

Rural Development Programs(RUPA)
