EDUCATE. EMPOWER. EMBRACE.
Get Involved
DAIA has a number of volunteers across Tamu Nadu who share their knowledge and expertise with those who need it most. We are very grateful to the volunteers in rural areas who support those in low socioeconomic communities and are helping us achieve our mission of embracing, empowering, and educating. Every contribution makes this mission possible; we can't do it without your support.

How you can get involved
Although the expression of interest for new volunteers is highly regarded, donations are the primary act of charity we are currently requiring.

Donations
Donations allow us to fund more equipment for those starting new businesses, cover the cost of travel for volunteers and enhance the facilities in communities that don't have much infrastructure. We have the people and the drive, but we need the funds to make a positive difference in people's lives.

Awareness
If you can't volunteer or donate, the best action is spreading awareness of our impactful work, leading to increased exposure and contributions. Sharing DAIA's mission helps us connect with individuals who can make a significant positive impact and inspire more people to contribute and make a difference. This ongoing awareness supports our mission of breaking the cycle of poverty in Tamil Nadu and surrounding areas.

Volunteering
Volunteering is one of the simplest ways to help out. Our partner, TATA Group, has begun online English lessons for children in grades 4 - 9. This eight-week program has been enriching for the 75 children who participated in the last teaching term. We are always looking for more people to volunteer and teach children virtually. If teaching English to disadvantaged children appeals to you, contact us today to see how you can make a difference.
