Jeya Gell

Dear friends,

Greetings. I am delighted to meet you all through this newsletter and share many works we have done so far.

Smile Project

The children of Vidya Prakasam Special School , Raphels Special Needs school, Good Shepherd school for hearing impaired and 2 primary schools of Jumbulingapuram district, captured our hearts with their beautiful, heartfelt smiles, when they received a teddy bear and sweets. They entertained the audience showcasing their incredible skills and talents. There are requests that they had put forward to uplift the children in their care. We are working on it.

Rural Upliftment Programs and Awareness (RUPA PROJECT)

Awareness Program

On Aug 29th,  DAIA and Annammal College organized an awareness program on ‘Plastic Waste’ at Jambulingapuram.

The Impact

The use of toilets has gained popularity among the people through the village development program's environmental and sanitation awareness programs.

“As a result of the awareness we have received in the last few years, none of us defecate in the open, everyone uses the toilet. Earlier we could not walk on the roadsides but now our village is clean” - “DAIA has been the backbone of this social transformation. They said that we will never forget the service of this organization in our lifetime. “- Ms. Vasanthi, Jambulingapuram resident.
