Newsletter — November 2022

Jeya Gell
Dear friends,
It’s my absolute pleasure and privilege to connect with you through this edition of the newsletter. This month, all our activities were caried out efficiently.
Our tuition centre children had two weeks of school holidays and they used their time well, doing science experiments, sports, craft, debating etc. It is amazing to see the talent of our youth.
The RUPA (Rural Upliftment Programs and Awareness) programs were done with much enthusiasm and many benefited from it. Few committees have been formed in the villages, challenging them to take on the task of taking care of their own villages and their fellowmen.
The medical camps were held as usual at Tuticorin and Kovilpatti with a total attendance of 86 patients. The follow-ups on the eye camp done last month by Dr. Agarwal hospital, offered some relief to many who needed care.
The elderly celebrated ‘International Elders Day’ on October 1st. It was a time of reflection of their contribution to families and the society. It was a day; their hard work and efforts were remembered and cherished. Most of them live alone under very poor circumstances, but yet it was a day to be thankful for what God has done in their lives.
Please read on to know about all our activities this month.
Blessings,
Hilda John.
Executive Director.
