Jeya Gell

Greetings.

We are delighted to meet you all through this newsletter and share many works we have done so far.

Joyful Christmas Event

On December 6th, the Christmas program for all the children of our tuition centers was joyfully celebrated at the Zion Campus in Kandasamypuram. Children from the Azhagumuthu Nagar, Vellapatti, Saveriarpuram, Nachiyarpuram, and Kurinji Nagar tuition centers participated, along with their parents. A total of 180 children and parents participated. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Dorothy Manimuthu, followed by an inspiring keynote address by Dr. Joe Prabhakaran. Mrs. Geetha from the Shalom Charity Mission energized the gathering with an engaging play session, in which the children participated with great enthusiasm. Mr. Rajakumar Asirvatham shared a meaningful message, encouraging the students to grow with discipline and obedience so they may rise to greater heights in society.

The stage came alive with vibrant performances by the children. The students of the Saveriyapuram tuition center presented a thoughtful play highlighting the dangers of excessive mobile phone use. The wonderful speeches by Surya Prakash and Gracelin, along with colorful dances, songs, and dramas, captured the hearts of the audience. Loud applause filled the hall as each performance beautifully showcased the talents, creativity, and confidence of our young learners.

Adding to the festive spirit, Santa Claus delighted the children by distributing sweets. Mrs. Jeya Gell and other special guests presented gifts and cakes, while children who participated in the Mobile Library Scheme received special prizes.

The program concluded with a heartfelt closing prayer by Ms. Ananthi Rajkumar, after which a delicious lunch with sweets was served. The children left happily, taking home cherished memories of a warm and truly touching Christmas celebration.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the event's success, coordinating activities and assisting the children with enthusiasm and care. Their efforts were instrumental in creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Embracing Elders

On December 10th, the Senior Citizens Christmas Program was joyfully conducted at the Zion Campus in Kandasamypuram, with 90 participants attending the celebration. The event began with an opening prayer by Mr. Jason. A beautiful song by Rajammal delighted the audience, filling the hall with joy. Mrs. Eben Jasan, who attended as the special guest, shared heartfelt wishes for the New Year, hoping it would bring happiness and peace to everyone. Guests Mrs. Geetha and Mrs. Vasanthi from the Shalom Charity Mission added to the festive spirit by entertaining the senior citizens with engaging activities.

Santa Claus lifted everyone’s spirits with a cheerful dance and lively games, after which prizes were presented to the winners. The senior citizens participated with great enthusiasm, especially in giving gifts to others, creating a touching spirit of generosity and sharing. All attendees received groceries, sarees, shirts, sweets, and other gifts, making the celebration even more memorable. A delicious special lunch was served. The participants left with the warmth of a memorable Christmas celebration, satisfied and happy.
