From the Executive Director

Hilda John

Dear friends,

I am grateful to meet you all through this annual report and want to express my immense gratitude to the many supporters who have stood by us this year.

Your support has enabled us to impact 393 beneficiaries through our work focused on education, empowerment in rural villages and programs supporting the healthcare of HIV patients and the elderly. In education, we were able to see a significant improvement in the performance of the 200 children we support. We are proud to share that 5 of them have successfully completed their grade 12, some even pursuing higher education in engineering and law.

We gave the children an all-around experience by taking them on educational excursions, conducting science experiments, offering reading challenges, and offering cultural and artistic programs.

The floods in Tuticorin district in the month of January brought in a lot of damage to many of our children’s homes and the centres. However, your support helped us distribute bags and stationery to the kids who lost them in the floods, and they have shown remarkable resilience in the face of this adversity.

Through the RUPA project, we were able to skill-train and empower 25 women in rural villages this year. We have also successfully linked them with garment companies.

Through our healthcare programs, we regularly support 70 HIV patients and 44 elders. This support allows them to continue to live independently, access health care, and work to provide for themselves and their families.

We are hands and feet in this work. Your continued support creates a positive impact on many individuals and families. Thank you for opening your heart and finding a chance to help those in need. Thank you for joining us on this journey.

Yours sincerely,
Hilda John.
