Annual Report 2021 - 2022

Dear Friends,

Thank you for supporting us through the years as we work among the vulnerable communities in Tuticorin district, India.

It has been my absolute pleasure and honour to serve our communities, working with our staff for the past two years, bringing holistic change within the communities in a small way.

This year brought a way out from the pandemic, enabling most of us to join the workforce. After two years of pandemic lockdowns, our vulnerable communities could start again, some of them where they left off, most of them back from scratch.

The past year had its challenges and also great possibilities. I am encouraged by new levels of support through partners, educators and praying friends. It is very encouraging to see the progress DAIA has made in the last year.

Our goals to Empower, Educate and Embrace have held their meaning more so loud this year. These will continue to be our focus. We will continue to work with the commitment to eliminate poverty and its causes, educate our youth, create awareness of health, hygiene and sanitation, and embrace our elderly and people with HIV/AIDS.

My heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated staff, for their hard work this year. Every team member has put in great effort to utilise time and resources to benefit our beneficiaries. Thank you, DAIA team, for your diligent, exceptional work and support to each other.

We are grateful to our supporters who consistently support us. Your commitment to the cause is endeavouring and inspiring in many ways as you sacrificially give financially and intellectually. Together with you, we look forward to making a difference in the lives of people who need it.
